Law360, New York (February 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Jackson Lewis LLP was retained in more new cases brought under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act than any other firm in 2006, despite a drop in the number of ERISA cases the firm handled compared with the previous year, according to our survey of the top 300 U.S. law firms.
Overall, ERISA-related lawsuits dropped by 10% in 2006, according to court dockets.
In November, Patrick Vaccaro, Jackson Lewis’ managing partner, told Law360 that the firm was seeing a healthy flow of ERISA work.
