Microsoft Settles Iowa Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (February 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. has reached a settlement with counsel in an Iowa class action accusing the software giant of anti-competitive practices, bringing a close to a dispute that lasted seven years.

In an announcement Wednesday, the two sides said the settlement—the terms of which aren’t being disclosed pending preliminary court approval—would benefit consumers, businesses and schools in Iowa.
