Converteam Settles In Carnival Ship Propulsion Spat

Law360, New York (August 11, 2010, 12:38 PM EDT) -- Carnival Corp. has reached a settlement with Converteam Inc. in a suit accusing the power conversion company and Rolls-Royce PLC of selling a faulty propulsion system for the Queen Mary 2 ship.

Judge Patricia A. Seitz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida ordered Carnival and Converteam on Tuesday to file a stipulation of dismissal, noting that they'd informed the court of a settlement.
