Platypus Settles IP Coverage Spat With Travelers

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 3:49 PM EDT) -- Platypus Wear Inc. has settled its coverage dispute with The Travelers Indemnity Co. over the insurer's refusal to defend it in an underlying copyright dispute involving its Bad Boy brand.

Judge Janis Sammartino of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California signed off on a joint motion for dismissal of the action Tuesday, noting that the parties had agreed to cover their own costs in the litigation.
