Paris Hilton Caught Up In $35M Hair Extension Spat

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 3:36 PM EDT) -- Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has found herself tangled up in a $35 million suit that claims she breached a licensing deal with hair extension maker HairTech International Inc., which allegedly caught her wearing a competitor's products.

HairTech filed suit Wednesday in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, also accusing Hilton of failing to show up at a June 2007 launch party for the DreamCatchers-brand hair extensions marketed under her name because she was in jail for driving under the influence....
