Ex-CA CEO Kumar Can't Cut Down 12-Year Sentence

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 5:55 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Thursday rejected former CA Inc. CEO Sanjay Kumar's bid to trim his 12-year prison sentence stemming from his role in a $2.2 billion accounting fraud, while it vacated ex-sales chief Stephen Richards' seven-year sentence because the lower court failed to give him credit for accepting responsibility.
