Former Nucor Sales Rep Stole Secrets, Suit Claims

Law360, New York (August 16, 2010, 12:45 PM EDT) -- A Nucor Corp. unit is going after a former New Hampshire sales representative who left the steel company in March for a competitor, claiming he breached noncompete agreements by using an external hard drive to download cost and strategy data from a company laptop.

Frederick Mauer IV faces breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other claims from Nucor Steel Marion Inc., according to an amended complaint correcting technical errors lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
