Acai Supplements Barred Over Alleged Marketing Scam

Law360, New York (August 16, 2010, 6:25 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has temporarily ordered several companies to stop selling acai berry supplements, colon cleansers and other products online following the Federal Trade Commission's allegations that they scammed customers out of more than $30 million with misleading ads and unfair billing practices.
