Crowell Hit With Malpractice Suit From Hijacking Victims

Law360, New York (August 17, 2010, 7:04 PM EDT) -- Crowell & Moring LLP has been accused of bilking six victims of a 1986 Pan Am flight hijacking in Pakistan out of millions of dollars owed to them through a fund that compensates U.S. nationals victimized by Libyan-sponsored terrorism.

In a lawsuit filed Friday in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles, the plaintiffs claim the firm committed legal malpractice by taking 25 percent of the money owed to the plaintiffs through the victim compensation fund.
