MarketXT Settles Trader's $37M Claim For $730K

Law360, New York (August 19, 2010, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Private trading company Chimera Capital LP has agreed to a $730,000 settlement on a $37 million claim it lodged against the estate of bankrupt securities trading service provider MarketXT Holdings Corp. over an alleged breach of an exclusive trading agreement.

The settlement, approved Wednesday by Judge Allan Gropper of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, puts an end to a nearly eight-year dispute over the claim.
