TV Installer Accuses Beazley Insurance Of Bad Faith

Law360, New York (August 23, 2010, 1:56 PM EDT) -- Southeastern Ventures Inc. has accused the Beazley Insurance Co. Inc. of bad faith as the satellite television installer seeks coverage for underlying suits accusing the company of fleecing its worker retirement plan in a stock transaction.

The London-based insurer also refused to permit the plaintiffs to retain "independent counsel" necessary to monitor the insurer's actions, according to a complaint lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
