Fuji Photo Wins ITC Dispute Over Camera Patent

Law360, New York (August 3, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled for Fuji Photo Film Co. in a patent infringement complaint against a New Jersey company that rebuilds used Fuji disposable cameras and sells them without brand names at a discount.

The ITC adopted without modification the decision of an Administrative Law Judge issued earlier this year finding that Jazz had imported over 25 million infringing one-time-use cameras since August 21, 2001, in violation of General Exclusion and Cease and Desist Orders issued by the ITC against Jazz in June...
