Calif. Court Grounds Alaska Air Whistleblower's Suit

Law360, New York (August 24, 2010, 6:57 PM EDT) -- California's highest court has shut down a suit brought by a former Alaska Airlines Inc. employee who claims that pointing out safety problems to the Federal Aviation Administration unfairly cost him his job, saying that the worker had a chance to make a case with the U.S. Department of Labor.
