Class Decertified In Correctional Workers' FLSA Case

Law360, New York (August 25, 2010, 1:38 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has decertified a class of current and former employees of a correctional facility in Arkansas who filed a Fair Labor Standards Act suit claiming they weren't paid for all the time they spent on the job, finding that the plaintiffs were not similarly situated.

Judge Susan Webber Wright of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas signed an order granting defendant Pulaski County's motion for decertification.
