Saint Tropez Hits Marshalls With $20M Contract, IP Suit

Law360, New York (August 25, 2010, 6:17 PM EDT) -- Apparel maker Saint Tropez Collection Inc. has accused TJX Cos. Inc. subsidiary Marshalls of MA Inc. of breaching $20 million in purchase agreements and inducing a trademark owner to breach a licensing deal, as well as stealing the plaintiff's intellectual property.

Saint Tropez brought the suit in the Supreme Court of the State of New York on Tuesday, targeting Marshalls and five John Does. The complaint was filed by Vano Haroutunian of Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler PC on behalf of the plaintiff.
