Air Products Settles Acid Disposal Suit For $1.5M

Law360, New York (August 26, 2010, 2:40 PM EDT) -- A unit of Air Products and Chemicals Inc. has agreed to pay close to $1.5 million to settle the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's claims that the company mismanaged the disposal of a hazardous sulfuric acid byproduct at its Pasadena, Texas, facility.
