Judge Approves Engine Maker's $5M Settlement

Law360, New York (February 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Final approval of a $5 million settlement has put to rest two longstanding discrimination lawsuits brought against Colorado engine parts maker Woodward Governor Co.

Judge Philip G. Reinhard of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Friday approved a consent decree that set up two settlement funds for minority and female workers at two of Woodward’s Illinois plants.
