Emigrant's Appeal Of Award Over Banking Pact Nixed

Law360, New York (September 1, 2010, 4:15 PM EDT) -- Emigrant Savings Bank has lost its bid to have a $2 million judgment against it and $10 million in corresponding attorneys' fees thrown out in a dispute with Metavante Corp. over an alleged breach of contract in the companies' joint launch of a banking system.
