Kia Recalls 35K Cars Over Faulty Wiring

Law360, New York (September 3, 2010, 3:05 PM EDT) -- Hyundai-Kia Motors has issued a recall for 35,185 cars with electrical systems that could short out and cause fires, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The recall is for 2010 Kia Soul and 2011 Kia Sorento models manufactured between Sept. 7, 2009, and July 30, 2010, according to the NHTSA's recall notice Friday.
