Mass. Hospitals Seek Quick Win In Research Grant Suit

Law360, New York (September 8, 2010, 12:12 PM EDT) -- Two Massachusetts hospitals have asked for summary judgment in a qui tam suit alleging they submitted a false claim to the National Institutes of Health in order to get a grant for Alzheimer's disease research.

Alan D. Rose and Lisa A. Tenerowicz of Rose Chinitz & Rose filed the summary judgment motion Tuesday on behalf of Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and two of their doctors in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
