Travelers Off Hook In JTC Roller Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (September 8, 2010, 12:40 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that Travelers Indemnity Co. of America does not have to cover costs JTC Industries Inc. sustained when contaminated raw materials forced the company to halt production of industrial rollers.

Judge Michael A. Telesca of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York signed off Tuesday on Travelers' motion for summary judgment, ruling that the policy at issue clearly excluded JTC's $175,000 claim.
