Chemtura To Pay $3.8M Over NC Cleanups

Law360, New York (September 13, 2010, 3:23 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has given bankrupt chemical company Chemtura Corp. the go-ahead on its deal to shell out $3.75 million to bury the hatchet with the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources over cleanup costs at several locations, including two of the state's Superfund sites.
