Oxfam Still Unsatisfied With Starbucks’ Efforts

Law360 (February 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Starbucks may have recently pledged not to oppose Ethiopian efforts to trademark its coffee names but the java giant still has a long way to go towards helping the African nation, according to charity group Oxfam International.

Oxfam both praised and chided Starbucks for its decision earlier this month to stop trying to block Ethiopia’s plan to trademark its specialty coffees—Sidamo, Harar and Yirgacheffe.
