Pinkos Named Deputy Director At USPTO

Law360, New York (August 11, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Stephen M. Pinkos, a former congressional aide, has been sworn in as deputy to Director Jon W. Dudas at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Pinkos most recently was Deputy General Counsel and Staff Director of the Judiciary Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he worked on varied intellectual property issues. One of the issues he worked on was the pending patent and trademark fee bill, H.R. 1561, which was passed by the House earlier this year.
