Hollinger Settles With Former Directors

Law360, New York (February 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Five former directors of Hollinger Inc. who sued the media holding company for unpaid fees and bonuses have agreed to settle their suits for a total of $1 million.

Gordon Walker, Paul Carroll, Robert Metcalfe, Allan Wakefield and Donald Vale will split $1.25 million, in addition to $700,000 to cover legal fees.

The directors had originally asked for $8 million.
