CIT Nixes New Challenge To Water Treatment Duties

Law360, New York (September 14, 2010, 2:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has denied a bid by two Chinese exporters of a water treatment chemical to reconsider an August ruling that upheld the Department of Commerce's remand decision recalculating anti-dumping duties on the chemical.

Judge Judith M. Barzilay on Monday denied a motion for reconsideration by Changzhou Wujin Fine Chemical Factory Co. Ltd. and Jiangsu Jianghai Chemical Group Co. Ltd., finding that they had not presented evidence that her earlier ruling was erroneous as to the issue of sales commissions.
