Sierra Club, Chamber Sue EPA Over Texas Air Quality

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 6:00 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club has sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in a bid to limit interstate air pollution from Texas, on the heels of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's appeal of an agency decision to nix the state's so-called flexible air permitting program.

The Sierra Club suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, seeks to force the EPA to approve federal implementation plans to limit interstate, ozone and fine particulate pollution in Texas.
