25 Senators Seek Vote On Patent Reform Bill

Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 2:24 PM EDT) -- A quarter of the U.S. Senate has urged Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to schedule a vote on the Patent Reform Act, six months after the Senate Judiciary Committee reached a bipartisan compromise designed to bring the bill to a vote.

In a letter to Reid on Wednesday, 25 senators called for a vote “as soon as possible,” arguing that strengthening the patent system will spur innovation and help stimulate the economy.
