AG Wants Documents From Marsh & McLennan

Law360 (February 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In state court on Monday, the Ohio Attorney General demanded that Marsh & McLennan Co. give up documents that could show how the nation’s largest insurance brokerage fixed prices for some of Ohio’s largest employers.

Marsh has handled the insurance bids of Ohio State University, Wendy’s International and American Electric Power, among others.

Attorney General Mark Dann said that e-mails from 2003 showed Marsh asking for a “fake ‘B’ quote” and “an unattractive premium that won’t sell” while handling bids for at least two companies....
