Kellogg Workers' Donning, Doffing Ruled Nonpayable

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 12:54 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in a class action over Kellogg Co.'s compensation policy for workers at a Kansas baking plant may be paid for post-donning and pre-doffing walking time, but not for time spent changing their clothes, a federal judge has concluded.

Judge John Lungstrum of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on Thursday partly granted and partly denied motions for summary judgment filed by the plaintiffs and the snack giant.
