Apple, Others In Talks To End Wage-Suppression Probe

Law360, New York (September 17, 2010, 3:46 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc., Google Inc., Adobe Systems Inc. and other technology giants are reportedly in talks with the U.S. Department of Justice in an attempt to avoid litigation over whether they conspired to suppress wages and agreed to not poach one another's employees.

Citing unnamed sources, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the companies are in the final stages of negotiations with the DOJ. The newspaper said that Intel Corp., Intuit Inc. and Pixar Animation are also involved in the talks.
