Experts Call For Energy Efficiency Laws

Law360 (February 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Congress needs to move swiftly to enact new policies that will encourage the use of renewable energy sources, help the United States become more self-sufficient and promote the sale of more efficient utilities and cars, experts told the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday.

The committee held a hearing on Tuesday to hear a variety of experts’ opinions on how new initiatives could lessen U.S. reliance on imported energy sources and address climate change.
