EU Accepts WTO Finding On Technology Tariffs

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 3:44 PM EDT) -- The European Union has decided not to challenge a World Trade Organization finding that it violated trade rules by charging controversial tariffs on cable boxes, computer monitors and other high-tech goods.

While the EU wishes the WTO panel would have ruled differently, it decided it will instead focus on implementation of the decision, EU trade spokesman John Clancy said Tuesday.
