Accenture Age Bias Class Action Trimmed

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out one of several claims in a class action accusing consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture LLP of discriminating against older information technology workers.

In an order Tuesday, Judge Richard H. Kyle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota said the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring a claim under the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act.
