DOC Calls For Duties On Chinese, Indonesian Paper

Law360, New York (September 21, 2010, 6:34 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has recommended anti-dumping and countervailing duties on coated paper from China and Indonesia, leaving a determination by the International Trade Commission as the only hurdle left before the duties can take effect.

In rulings issued Tuesday, Commerce found that numerous companies in both China and Indonesia were selling paper in the U.S. at less than fair value and had received financial support from their respective governments.
