Essex Off Hook For Fla. Developer's $19M Settlement

Law360, New York (September 22, 2010, 4:14 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that Essex Insurance Co. had no duty to indemnify a Florida developer for a $19 million settlement with homeowners who alleged that their property was damaged by pollutants released during construction on the site of a former chemical and medical waste dump.
