EU Raids Envelope Makers In Cartel Probe

Law360, New York (September 23, 2010, 4:04 PM EDT) -- The European Commission has raided several envelope manufacturers in France, Denmark, Spain and Sweden based on concerns that the companies have coordinated price hikes and allocated customers.

The antitrust watchdog ran unannounced inspections at several of the companies' headquarters in the four countries on Sept. 14 based on its competition worries, the commission said Thursday.
