US Scraps Ex-Credit Suisse Broker Sentence Appeal

Law360, New York (September 27, 2010, 6:03 PM EDT) -- The federal government has abandoned its appeal of a five-year prison sentence and $5 million fine against a former Credit Suisse Group AG broker who was convicted of fraud related to the sale of $1.2 billion in auction rate securities.
