Simpson Thacher Partner Joins DOJ Antitrust Division

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 4:50 PM EDT) -- A Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP partner has left the firm to join the U.S. Department of Justice, where he will be responsible for the Antitrust Division's civil litigation matters.

Antitrust professional Joe Wayland joined the DOJ on Monday after 22 years at Simpson Thacher, during which he represented major clients such as JP Morgan Securities Inc., The Nielsen Co. and Express Scripts Inc.
