Govt. Settles Courthouse Construction Dustup With PCL

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 2:25 PM EDT) -- PCL Construction Services Inc. has settled its breach of contract claim against the federal government over more than $1 million the company is still owed from a design-build construction project for a federal courthouse in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Judge George Miller of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims signed off on the agreement Monday and dismissed the complaint. Specifics of the settlement were not disclosed in court documents. Representatives for the parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
