Ohio AG Vows To Investigate AirTran-Southwest Deal

Law360, New York (September 28, 2010, 6:23 PM EDT) -- Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray promised Tuesday to put Southwest Airlines Co.'s plan to buy AirTran Holdings Inc. for $1.4 billion under the microscope to see if there were any antitrust issues.

The review will focus on the effect that the merger might have on the price and availability of flights into Ohio, Cordray said.
