Skilling Ruling Doesn't Alter Ex-Mayor's Sentence

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 12:28 PM EDT) -- A federal judge found that Paul H. Richards II, the ex-mayor of Lynwood, Calif., cannot use the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Skilling v. United States to escape a nearly 16-year prison sentence for charges he funneled city contracts to a business owned by him and his family.
