ELA Tries To Nix FCA Suit Over Defibrillators

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 5:52 PM EDT) -- Sorin Group unit ELA Medical Inc. is seeking dismissal of a False Claims Act suit brought by a former employee alleging the medical device maker orchestrated a pervasive kickback and false statement scheme that enabled it to pocket millions of dollars from the U.S. government's Medicare program.
