ITC Issues Injunction On Vietnamese Catfish Duties

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 7:24 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction on the collection of anti-dumping duties imposed on frozen catfish imported from Vietnam, delaying liquidation until the court rules on an appeal by the Catfish Farmers of America.

Judge Donald C. Pogue of the U.S. Court of International Trade granted the catfish farmers' unopposed motion to enjoin the U.S. from collecting the duties while they fought the Department of Commerce's decision to grant NTSF Seafoods Joint Stock Co. an exemption from anti-dumping duties.
