NET Settles Claims It Shipped Cyanide To Israel

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 4:09 PM EDT) -- New England Trading Global Inc. has agreed to shell out a $365,000 civil penalty to settle allegations by the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security that it violated weapons export regulations through the sale of cyanide products to Israel.

BIS announced the deal Monday, posting the stipulation signed by NET Global President Gregh Aluisy and John Sonderman, acting director of BIS' office of enforcement. The civil penalty will be waived in its entirety unless NET Global repeats its violation of the Export Administration Regulations....
