Swisscom Faces New Probe Over Internet Fees

Law360, New York (March 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Swisscom faces fresh troubles less than a month after being fined for overcharging customers for mobile phone termination fees. Switzerland’s competition watchdog has reportedly launched a probe into whether the state-owned telecom group overcharged competitors for high-speed Internet access.

Patrik Ducrey, the deputy director of the Swiss Federal Competition Commission (Comco), confirmed a report in a Swiss newspaper on Sunday that the agency was looking into the wholesale price for Asymmetric Digital Subscribers Line (ADSL) connections which Swisscom charged its competitors, Reuters reported on Monday....
