Real Estate Co.'s Antitrust Claims Against Rivals Axed

Law360, New York (October 4, 2010, 1:42 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed Progressive Buyers & Sellers LLC's claims that competitors, including a Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC franchise, conspired to illegally control broker commission rates, citing Progressive's failure to prosecute the antitrust fight.

Judge Laurie Smith Camp of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska adopted on Thursday a magistrate judge's recommendation to dismiss all claims asserted by Progressive, as it no longer has a lawyer to represent it.
