Medtronic Settles Patent Spat Over Stents

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 7:13 PM EDT) -- Wall Cardiovascular Technologies LLC has settled its claims against Medtronic Inc. in a suit over cardiovascular stent patents, leaving Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary Cordis Corp. as the only remaining defendants.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed Medtronic from the case Thursday, after the sides agreed to settle their claims and counterclaims.
