Fremont Asks For KPMG Docs On $2.8M Fee Request

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 7:15 PM EDT) -- Signature Group Holdings Inc., the reorganized form of Fremont General Corp., has asked a bankruptcy judge to force KPMG Corporate Finance LLC to produce documents to help mediate a dispute over a $2.8 million tab for work KPMG performed for the debtor.

In a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Signature Group asked for an order compelling the production of documents detailing KPMG’s services for Fremont, including when it performed those services.
