EU Probes Chinese Pipes Over Dumping Concerns

Law360, New York (October 1, 2010, 4:04 PM EDT) -- The European Commission has launched an investigation into whether Chinese imports of steel pipes and tubes used for drilling and transporting oil and gas are harming European producers.

The probe, revealed Thursday in the Official Journal of the European Union, relates to “certain seamless pipes and tubes of stainless steel other than with attached fittings suitable for conducting gases or liquids for use in civil aircraft.”
